wow!!!what an evening!!!
you can't imagine how awesomely long line was...fortunately,Jonathan was seen by a couple of his former students and we were invited to join them and and we got just unbelievably close to the entrance. we got to sit and be so very close to the stage.
Katrina was an incredible baby. in fact,some woman,in her 50-es or so,complemented on my baby saying "how wonderful the baby handles herself in a such huge crowd".
Bill Clinton gave about 2 hours speech and after that we rushed to see him,possibly,closer. also,we had his latest book "Giving". i gave my book to be signed to some guy in black :-) while Clinton was making his way to us i reached out and he shook my hand. Wooow!!! again,we seemed to be about 5-7 people away from Bill Clinton but suddenly he got closer and saw Katrina in Jonathan's hands and asked him if we wanted Katrina to be taken and held by him. the whole crowd seemed just stepped away and let him take our baby girl. and of course she started to cry,but he didn't give her immediately back to Jonathan - he started to rock her and gave her a hug and then before giving her back - he kissed her on her cheek. several minutes later I got back my singed book.
