George the Hedgehog,from England,weighed 5 pounds back in November when he was found in a field. This is twice the size of what a normal hedgehog should weigh. He was put on the Atkins diet. He hopes to reach his goal weight soon.
George was so fat that he couldn't feel the cold, so he didn't hibernate during the winter like most hedgehogs.
