it all started somewhere 2 weeks ago.
first,it took a looong time to open certain files,then Internet connection just wouldn't go on...and then a day in the morning when i turn on my computer...and it is not there any more.
anyway,i still believed i could reboot it so i ran a test on it...but i was shown a window that i didn't have any divises for rebooting my system. that got my alarmed! Jonathan called DELL and was talking to a guy for almost 90 minutes!!! eventually,Jonathan came in the room and said:"It is official,your computer's hard drive just collapsed and it happens to like 30% of the laptop owners". OMG,do you know what it meant??? it meant that i had lost all the data i had for the past 2 years as we have had our laptops!!!! Nooooooooooooo!i had millions of saved favorite websites,photos,music,randon pictures...junk,i know...but it IS MY junk!
feeling very desperate i went for some help of my friend,Stephanie,who's husband is a computer geek :-) after working on my computer for a day or so i got a call in the morning saying that ALL my data was recovered! *******man,lazy DELL people!!!!!!!******** i couldn't contain my happiness so i called Jonathan at school and when i revealed my news,he couldn't believe it :-)
now i am enjoying having my brand NEW hard drive and my OLD data :-)
